Produced, directed and choreographed by the team that created "The Who's Tommy" at Elden Street in 1997.

with music performed by the band, "Conspiracy Theory."

The ultimate cult movie and the show that defined audience participation comes to the Elden Street Players for the Washington Area Community Theater Premier.  The characters and music are what millions of "Rocky Horror" Fans know by heart.  It is now our turn to bring them to life again, to give the fans and "virgins" a Rocky-experience that they will never forget.

AUDITION DATES:   Saturday, May 12, 2001 and Sunday, May 13, 2001

AUDITION TIMES: Registration begins at 12:30pm, Auditions from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

AUDITION PLACE: Industrial Strength Theatre, 269 Sunset Park Drive, Herndon, VA

CASTING:

10+ men
7 roles (Brad, Narrator, Riff Raff, Frank 'n' Furter, Rocky, Eddie, Dr. Scott)
3+ phantoms
6+ women 
3 roles (Magenta, Columbia, Janet)
3+ phantoms
Age range: 18+ preferred.  Most "roles" require 18+.
All applicants are expected to have reliable transportation. 

PREPARATION:

Prepare 16-20 bars of a rock song, preferably from a rock musical. (i.e. Tommy, Hair, JC Superstar, Pippin, Joseph, etc.) Select a number that highlights your vocal range, vocal strength and stage presence.
Piano accompaniment will be provided, please bring sheet music (already transposed if necessary).
Private accompaniment welcome.
Dress for movement.
Auditioners should be familiar with the story and music of Rocky Horror Show.
Photos and Resumes not required, but appreciated.
