Vivian comes to reassess her life and her work with a profundity and humor
that are transforming both for her and the audience. Written by Washington,
D.C. native, Margaret Edson, fifteen years later this play remains a
powerful, insightful study of closing a life, based on her own work
experience in a hospital.
