Schools out for summer, but in the world of
Fairytales, school is still in session!
Join us for class at "Grimm's Resplendent Enchanted Academy of Talented
and Magical Imaginary Neverending Delightful Stories" as some of your
favorite fairytale characters are in the midst of practicing and studying
for their final exams. How did Prince Charming get to be so dog gone
charming anyway? Why Castle Etiquette 211, of course. Is it three waves of
the magic wand before or after saying the magic words? Do you add bat wing
and eye of newt or purple Frogs tongue and chicken lips to your invisibility
potion?
Little Bo Peep aced the English exam but if she can't find her sheep will
she be able to pass Fairy Math 101? ESP Theatre For Young Audiences takes a
peek into "G.R.E.A.T.M.I.N.D.S" the most prestigious Fairytale School on the
planet where mere characters learn to become your favorite Fairytale Heros!
and who knows, the school might be recruiting!

About the Directors:
This is Robin's first enchanted adventure into the
wonderful world of directing and playwrighting. Previous endeavors have
landed her on-stage in the plays An Experiment with an Air Pump, Once
Upon a Clothesline, and Hayfever. She has also magically
appeared in the feature films Live Free or Die Hard, National
Treasure: Book of Secrets, and State of Play. She's thrilled
to be working alongside the talented Meg Miller and is sure that chaos and
mayhem will ensue. She thanks Andy, Stubbs, and Scrappy for their continued
support.
This year marks the second year in a row for Meg in the
mystical realm of playwriting and directing for ESP’s Theatre for Young
Audiences. She’s elated to be collaborating with the enchanting Robin Zerbe.
Does it get any better than this? Meg’s been seen on the TFYA stage in such
deliciously funny plays as: Cinderella, Puss in Boots, and Red vs.
Wolf. Her previous spellbinding directorial works include; Once Upon
a Clothesline, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, and Supercilious.
Since landing in Virginia a few years ago, she has also made her way onto
the main stage in several brilliant productions to include: The Women,
Three Penny Opera, and Museum.
Produced by special arrangement with
the
playwrights.
ESP Productions are partially supported by grants from the
The Town of Herndon, The Nelson and Katherine Post Foundation, the Virginia
Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
